Hi everyone and Happy New Year! 🙂
The year 2017. was crazy for me, so many things happened. It was a good year but I hope for this year to be even better. This year I have big plans, I want to finish college, read 80 books, start exercising daily and write my blog regularly.
The end of the year I finally after two months received new FairyLoot box. I have been subscribed to FairyLoot since February 2017. and I’m loving it. They outdo themselves every month and December box was beyond my expectations. Since I didn’t receive my November box until yesterday (it was stuck in transit) I didn’t see that December box will include Funko or any clues for the book.
Theme for December was Oh So Regal! and it features items themed on Disney, Shakespeare, Red Queen and books in general.
First item that I found as soon as I opened my FairyLoot was Full Size Pop Funko! FairyLoot included different Funkos in every box so you could receive: Simba, Rapunzel, Pocahontas, Ariel, Jasmine or Tiana. These are all Disney royals and they suit Oh So Regal theme perfectly. I got Rapunzel. I like Rapunzel and it was my choice number two to get right after Simba. 🙂
How cute is this Funko? And it would be so accurate image of me hadn’t I cut my hair last month. 🙂
Next item that was in the box is candle. This month FaoryLoot sent different candles in every box, they worked with A Court of Candles to bring four different candles. You could get either Prince Aladdin from Aladdin, Prince Charming from Cinderella, Prince Adam from Beauty and the Beast or Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid. I got Prince Eric.
This candle smells of peach, sea mist and driftwood. I have in my collection a few A Court of Candles candles and I have to say that this one smells similar to my Tamlin candle.
Exclusive purple Virtuous & Fair Zip Pouch by Miss Phi was featured in this box. This pouch features a quote from No Fear by William Shakespeare. This is if I am not wrong second pouch that FairyLoot sent. I also have the one that they sent in February 2017. box with Rebel of Sands quote.
Powerful Notebook features “To look powerful is to be powerful” quote from Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard and it was designed by Stella’s Bookish Art. It’s perfect for taking daily notes and making to-do lists. I have been using mine since the day I got it and I have to say that paper quality is not great but the size is pretty useful.
Perfect for keeping keys safe and looking pretty is Books Rule Enamel Keychain designed by Fiction Tea.
High-quality keychain with beautiful design.
Bonus items in this box were War Storm Bookmark and Rosemarked Sampler. I’ve been meaning to read Rosemarked since it came out and now I have the opportunity to try it. War Storm Bookmark is promoting release of the fourth and final book in Red Queen tetralogy.
The book that FairyLoot included this month was Everless by Sara Holland. It came with signed bookplate and author letter.
Goodreads blurb:
Time is a prison. She is the key. Packed with danger, temptation and desire – a perfect read for fans of The Red Queen.Â
In the land of Sempera, the rich control everything – even time. Ever since the age of alchemy and sorcery, hours, days and years have been extracted from blood and bound to iron coins. The rich live for centuries; the poor bleed themselves dry.
Jules and her father are behind on their rent and low on hours. To stop him from draining himself to clear their debts, Jules takes a job at Everless, the grand estate of the cruel Gerling family.
There, Jules encounters danger and temptation in the guise of the Gerling heir, Roan, who is soon to be married. But the web of secrets at Everless stretches beyond her desire, and the truths Jules must uncover will change her life for ever … and possibly the future of time itself.
I already read this book. I loved it and rated it 5 stars on Goodreads, now I only need book 2.
Stay tuned for unboxing of November FairyLoot and more bookish posts. 🙂
Disclaimer: I bought this box with my own money and this is in no way sponsored post.
