Hello everyone! 🙂
June came and went in the blink of an eye. If May was intense then June was crazy and July will be even crazier. On the side that June was fast paced and restless it was the most productive month of this year so far. So many good and positive things happened that I’m bursting with joy!
I bought a lot of books and bookmerch but I had few other things that I was obsessed with this month beside buying books and bookish merchandise. 🙂 This month was also really hot! I don’t know how am I going to survive this summer, I feel like I’m melting.
The first thing that I became obsessed with this month is Fleetwood Mac. I rediscovered this band partly because one of their song was on Guardians of Galaxy Vol 2. soundtrack but I was also in some eclectic music mood this month. So I basically spend the entire June listening to Rumors and Fleetwood Mac albums on repeat. 🙂
Ever since I finished A Court of Wings and Ruin I was unable to return to my normal reading life. I found myself re-reading ACOMAF and ACOWAR at least twice. And then miracle happened, I read somewhere that Sarah J. Maas said that she got inspiration for ACOTAR series from Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Now, I’m a huge fan of paranormal fiction/fantasy/romance/ya so I started reading it. First book was (meh!) not the best paranormal I read and definitely not the worst but I decided to give chance to second book in a series. And I got hooked! Like unable to spend a day without reading BDB hooked. I read 6 book in a week or so. Yay! Finally I have my life free of ACOTAR only to be submerged into a new obsession. 😀 Needed to be said that I also listened to Fleetwood Mac – Rumors while reading BDB?
My most recent obsession became Persol glasses. I wanted a pair of Persol eyeglasses for years, but I always had perfect eyesight until last month I realised that I can’t see perfectly. Originally I used contact lenses but after I got bloodshot eyes I was obliged to use eyeglasses. I went with redesigned classic Persol Cellors in Cafe colour. These glasses are super comfortable and stylish.
Xoxo, M. 🙂
